Join the team

You will own the design, build, and iteration of AI-driven features across the BetterCRM platform — from prompt engineering and model selection to the UI that delivers the output. You have deep experience with modern LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows. You are comfortable across the stack: designing data pipelines, building React frontends, and tuning latency for real-time Slack integrations. You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on production LLM systems. You care about observability, evaluation frameworks, and graceful degradation when models hallucinate. You write clean, tested code and you ship fast.

You will work directly with BetterCRM clients — community operators and creators running communities on Slack — to help them grow engagement, streamline onboarding, and turn their workspaces into thriving hubs. You will design playbooks, run workshops and Q&A sessions, surface client insights back to our product team, and create content that helps our customers succeed. You understand Slack deeply — not just as a user, but as a platform for community operations. You have 3+ years running B2B or SaaS communities, ideally in a client-facing or services capacity. You are metrics-driven, creatively restless, and you genuinely love helping people succeed. Experience with community tooling and CRM systems is a strong plus.
